Empanelled Guru for graduate and post graduate students of Bharatanatyam at the Centre for Performing Arts, University of Pune .

B.Com and M.A. in dance

Post Graduate Diploma in Television Production from Xaviers Institute of Communcations, Mumbai.

Empanelled as performing artiste for ICCR.



DANCE TRAINING

15 years under Rema Shrikant, (www.remashrikant.com). Also learnt briefly from Guru Vasanti Subramanium in Lucknow. Learning from Guru Dr. Sucheta Chapekar, (www.kalavardhini.org) since 1998 . Learning Bharata Nrityam (Style of Dr.Padma Subramanyam) from Guru Jayashree Rajagopalan, Mumbai since 2000.
Taking special training in the aspect of Music and Choreography of Abhinaya Padams from Guru Smita Mahajan.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Music under Guru Rema parthasaarthy, Guru Srilatha Sunderrajan, Guru Rajlaxmi Pichumani . Recieveing indepth training in Carnatic music from Guru lata Raman from Mumbai . Also training in Rhythmic aspect of dance under famed Mridangist Guru Shankar Narayan from Mumbai.




ARTISTIC PRODUCTION

“Kavyanjali” , “Shakti “ , “Nritya Sangam” with Kathak danseuse Shambhavi Vaze , “Svarnim” and “ Nayaka”.




PERFORMANCES

Has performed in major festivals in India . Has toured abroad namely – Switzerland , U.S.A . , China , Muscat  and Russia.

In 2005 Dance Choreography for a commercial marathi film “Restaurant” starring Sonali Kulkarni

CREATIVE CONCEPT DEVELOPER

Parimal has extensively worked with several Advt. Agencies and Event Management Companies in Pune to develop dance based events for Corporate Houses.

AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Junior Research Fellowship from University Grants Commission on the basis of the National Eligibility Test (NET).

Young Artists Scholarship from Received scholarship from Ministry of Culture for studying dance.

National title "Singarmani" for dance by Sur Singar Samsad, Bombay.

Pt. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar Puraskar at the Sharada College of Music and Dance, Mumbai

Received the Junior Scholarship for dance from Bhatkhande Music College , lucknow.

TEACHING

Have trained students for competitions who have been winners in various dancecompetitions .like Sharada Sangeet Vidyalaya , Shanmukhanda Fine Arts Society ,Mumbai , Vedic Heritage Competition , Mumbai ., Sur Singar Samsad , Mumbai
